Kalam is definitely not our regular horror thriller, the actual suspense factor in the film is the climax and the pulpy end leaves us stunned. The director must have foreseen that, and decided to give us a reminder that it is, indeed, a zombie movie. The Plot: The Plot is not like a typical horror slasher, as probably everyone thought by the title. The masks seen in the movie, which seemingly cause the demon plague, are similar to those seen in The Mask of Satan, the first great Italian horror movie, directed by Mario Bava, the father of Demons director Lamberto Bava. This movie hasn't done well as a lot people found they had the same problem with the pacing.
Aside from the fact that it is scary and cringe inducing, it has a great plot and twists that would surprise any movie fan. As she starts to transform into a demon, her screams mingle with those of the movie until she finally rips through the screen itself. I seriously wanted that kid dead and the film needs you, on some level, want the kid to be safe to work as horror.
